Thinning agents additives such as xylene and napthalene aid in cleaning of producing oil wells increase daily production. These thinning agents are accurately metered into the pumping well heads.
The customer was using a progressive cavity pump for controlling the thinning agent. Due to the remoteness of the pumping heads, the chemical holding tank tends not to be refilled on schedule resulting in stator and rotor damage. The LPP-M pump having dry running capabilities reduces maintenance cost associated with all progressive cavity pumps. As an valued added item, the flow verification system (FVS) is being used in conjunction to the LPP-M pump providing an alarm when the tank is empty.
The replacement tube being the only repair item provides quick, easy, and on the spot maintenance increasing the overall daily oil production dramatically.
