LPP-T40 Improves Process Performance in Waste Water Plant

Larox Flowsys in the Process
Slurry with 4 % solids is pumped from de-watering unit to a storage tank, 11 meters up and 50 meters horizontally through a DN100 mm pipe. The LPP-T40 pumps 600 - 900 minutes each batch totaling 1000 hours a year. The pump is frequency controlled and mounted with a hose leak detector switch.
The LPP-T40 replaced a mono pump, which often broke down and was difficult and expensive to repair. With Larox pumps only the hose is in contact with the medium. Larox pumps incorporate a unique rolling design, which eliminates friction and maximizes hose lifetime. They are also self-priming and have dry run capability.
